Brand Refresh Project

The perfect time to refresh our brand

We just recently celebrated 200 years of excellence. A new strategic plan is guiding us forward. And digitization trends are changing the way we engage and have raised the bar for accessibility.

After more than a year of engagement and research and on the heels of a new strategic plan, we’re excited to share our updated brand with you.

Dalhousie University brand strategy

Third Century Promise: Dalhousie University’s Strategic Plan 2021-2026, asks what it would take to lift Dalhousie University into the community of the world’s greatest universities. It’s a challenge that requires us to build on the achievements of the last two centuries and prepare to meet the promise of our third century.

Over the last year, Communications, Marketing and Creative Services, partnered with local firm m5, have been engaging with stakeholders on campus and within our external communities.

We’ve gained insight into what makes Dalhousie unique and how we can show up ready to take our place on the world stage. They’ve asked us to be bolder. To reach further. And to be inclusive in everything we do.

See our refreshed brand come to life

Our new brand considers all the above and brings it together with the incredible, life-changing moments, discoveries and knowledge that make Dalhousie University an exceptional place.

Because Dalhousie University is where  infinite ambition  meets  global impact.
